_The nobrow.music.collective is a rotating cast of musicians dedicated to the performance of exciting music (be it old, new, highbrow or low). Past performances have included collaboration with the Athens Dance Collective, video artist Max Tohline, the Ohio University School of Theater and the Athena Cinema. Like us on facebook! The label, nobrow.sounds, was created so that we would have a way to distribute our music (as well as projects by individual members and friends).

  • Athena Cinema - original scores and improvisations with classic surrealist and dada films including Marcel Duchamp's Anemic Cinema, René Clair's Entr'acte, Luis Buñuel's Un Chien Andalou, Viking Eggeling's Diagonal Symphonie and Orson Welles' The Hearts of Age.
